Green Ethics is a game that is also a show and a challenge. A challenge for the audience who take part in the show and a challenge for the actors who only know what scene they have to do after the audience has thrown the dice.
The Green Ethics project was inspired by the traditional board game of the Goose, and introduced the methodology of forum theatre, reinventing the traditional game’s squares for others, in which situations and performative scenes raise awareness of climate change and the European Green Deal.
A Creative Europe project in which the 18 partners from 12 countries share the aim of raising awareness of climate change among project participants, audiences and communities, promoting and encouraging more sustainable behaviour.
A challenge on wheels of a prototype of green bicycles, used by the audience to generate electricity for the operation of the show’s scenic device. Fostering a community spirit and raising awareness of the use of environmentally friendly means of transport.
ASTA – Associação de Teatro e Outras Artes was founded in 2000. Its identity draws strength from a transdisciplinary culture, with theatre at its core. Since its inception, the company has sought originality and difference in a constant search for new methods and languages, whether reinventing classics or creating something new from empty space. Its body of work is very diverse, focusing on five key areas: creations, festivals/programming, dissemination, educational services, and research projects.
