Look up at the sky to see the sea!
A group of divers brings ashore the wreckage of a ship that had been lying on the seabed for a long time. Gale force winds stir up sea creatures that reveal their magic, reminding us of the urgency of saving them, and ourselves.
The ocean is something that defines us. Its salt is filled with memories, struggles and shipwrecks, but also respect and veneration.
We remember the departed, the men and fish who feed us. We bring Salty Skies to life and to the public to cultivate empathy, respect and the desire to take care of this valuable treasure, the ocean. We harnessed the wind as our ally to manipulate the puppets and discovered that their fragility reflects the dire situation facing marine species and habitats.

Boca de Cão – Teatro de Rua e Formas Animadas is fruit of a passion for visual arts and street theatre, which began its journey, in 2013, with the human puppet show Agostinho e Felicidade.
Since then the company has created original productions specifically for the public space, where it has developed its own universe of fusion between traditional and contemporary aesthetics, with eight original creations and countless set and puppet constructions for other theatre, puppet, circus and music companies.
