CREAM – An exploration of the relationship between human and machine in the age of modern technology.
This juggling performance offers a unique vision between human expression and artificial precision, portraying the experience of a subject gradually absorbed by a system, raising essential questions about what it means to be human in a world dominated by technology.
Set against the backdrop of a video game in a pastel-coloured space, the performance incorporates escape room elements, with a series of puzzles and challenges. In this universe, the subject is led to the end of the game by experimental music played live.
INAC (Instituto Nacional de Artes do Circo) is an international centre dedicated exclusively to circus arts, located in Vila Nova de Famalicão – Portugal. Through its activities, it plays an active role in the training, creation, programming and dissemination of contemporary circus in Portugal and abroad.
The main focus of INAC’s creative platform is research into contemporary circus and its intersection with other artistic languages, creating new aesthetics in this field. Through the programming and dissemination of its shows, it provides a new artistic offer in Portugal, thus enriching the current cultural panorama.
