And we continue to believe that one of the keys to a fairer and freer world was and will be art. Here we are for another International Puppet Meeting in Montemor-o-Novo.

This is a meeting that expands beyond the territory of Montemor, without borders, without limits between people and countries, in the conviction that we live better together, in the diversity that unites us.

The XVII International Puppet Meeting of Montemor-o-Novo will be a meeting of micro revolutions, with puppets, theater, performances, music, exhibitions and conversations, where the motto will be FREEDOM in all its meaning.

In increasingly turbulent and uncertain times, it is urgent that we affirm fraternity, love and solidarity as paths to the future through art.

We will have creations from Belgium, Portugal, France, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Jordan and the Czech Republic who will present us with shows of true stories, revolutions in our collective life, wars, autobiography, nature, consciousness, dystopias, interactives and the future, among many other human issues.

An intergenerational meeting in various spaces of the city in a festive atmosphere, where everyone is welcome, and which we want to help us reflect on the question of what it means to be human.
