Two characters (who are sort of neighbours) meet and mismatch in the twists and turns of everyday life under the watchful eye of a cat, or a female cat, it remains to be seen…
In this show we propose the audience a game that oscillates between what we know and what we don’t know – what we expect to happen and what actually does.
The play is based on the idea of an ever-changing repetition of the same scene, of the same sensations and emotions being gradually transformed. The inspiration for this creation came from the personal memory of how certain stories, certain games were (and are) requested over and over again by the little ones, first by the youngest siblings, then by the older nephews, finally by our daughters, now – again – by our youngest nieces…
Again! Tell it again! Do it again!
This is a show for all ages in which humans, puppets and objects coexist to tell us a story over and over again, which in reality can be many.
Teatro de Ferro was established in 1999. The company’s work focuses on the field of theatre of and with puppets and objects. Its activities are rooted in research, where the puppet is a core element, in its various hybrid forms. The relationships between the body-performer and the manipulated object and the involvement of each spectator in the construction of this relationship are lines of reflection that run through TdF’s artistic practice.
