‘Viagem à Lua’ is a text by the Spanish poet and playwright Federico Garcia Lorca. It was written as a film script and has never been filmed or performed in Portugal. It’s a surrealist text that mixes the poet’s images with themes such as childhood, love and death. This show tries to understand the original text and combines it with biographical excerpts, songs, revue numbers, magic, playbacks, flamenco, other plays and poems by Lorca that perhaps allow us to reach a clearer understanding of what the poet wanted us to feel.
He was born in 1976. He is a director, playwright, scenographer and performer, with professional experience in cinema, television and journalism.
