Ascolta, Sassolino

‘Ascolta Sassolino’ is a performance inspired by one of the most celebrated fairy tales by Charles Perrault, “Pollicino” (Hop-o’-My-Thumb).

Young audiences are welcomed into and immersed in a spatialized sound experience created by Renato Rinaldi, one of Italy’s most acclaimed sound designers. His work offers a surprising listening experience and supports the narrative in an original and evocative way.

On stage, Roberta Colacino and Alvise Camozzi—both authors and performers—bring together diverse and complementary artistic backgrounds. They guide the performance through a continuous interplay of images and words, combining object theatre and storytelling.

This sensory and engaging approach allows for an emotional yet participatory experience, offering children the tools to reinterpret the story in a personal and creative way, and to develop a deeper awareness of the power of storytelling as a means of self-discovery and connection with others.
